Kill Team - Campaign Day 1 - Battle 4 (Intel recovery) Battle Report

The armies are meeting again.

Battle 4, Day 1.

4 groups are gathering nearby an abandoned outpost with plenty of necron's pylons scattered in the area.

The GK are in force, with the largest army (90pts), followed by the Space Marines (75), and the Necron (50). The Orks have more people, but only 42points.

the Orks will pile in with a boy and a Kommando. The SM will slain them

Meanwhile the Necrons are looking for close combat against the GK
the psy powers of the GK and lack of luck of the Necron will prove fatal to the aliens.
On the other side, a grot pretends to be a menace to the SM

Toward the end, the GK have killed all the Necrons but 1

The Space Marines are holding their side.
the GK and the Space Marines have survived the battle without casualties. The Orks have been kicked out, and a single Necron scores for his team

The battle was a massacre for the Orks. Threatened by the Necrons, facing the Space Marines, and fielding the smallest army. they bravely held for 4 turns.
The Necrons decided to hide and score, while the GK and SM faced each others, exchanged few shots but not enough to change the tie.

Final result
GK - 2 points
SM - 2 points
Necron - 1 point

Kill Team: Xmas Special battle report

Christmas Eve, 41st millenium.
On the planet North Pole, the bomber of Santa Klaus and Santa Kraut is shot down by the Grinch, a terrible Necron Lord.

A team of squats is sent to retrieve the 2 proud pilots while the terrible Necrons are on their way too.

  • The Necron and the Squat deploy on both sides.
  • Moving within 3" of a Santa take control of the Santa.
  • Whoever controls more Santa wins.
  • You can move Santa out of the map on your border
  • Uncontrolled Santa move d6" in a random direction (standard scatter dice)

With the 7th turn finished, the Necrons were getting back in control. The squat got quite a beating but stayed in, thanks to lucky rolls.
The Santas are back to Rain-Dear base, and ready to drop more gift to the Necrons in this war.

A very funny game.

Kill Team: battle report (free play, not campaign)

On the desolated planet of Outdoor, in the Table Region, a group of Space Marines have heard the story of the mighty dreadnought who fought an army.
Meanwhile, the Grey Knight chapter were monitoring any activity around the remnant of an old dreadnought, making sure nobody would retrieve its wreck.

So, here we are, 100pt Kill Team, with the objective to hold as many objectives as possible by the end of the game.
For this game I played the space marines, all of them using the Primaris trait. They have 2 hit points but a lower selection of weapons.

The battle field.
The 4 objectives were set 6inch from the center toward the corners.

First objective

2nd objective

3rd objective

4th objective

Grey Knight Kill Team

Sergeant, Grey Knughts inbound!
The space marine deployment
Up until the end I forgot to take pictures.
In a nutshell, the sergeant moved forward and became a bullet magnet. He died on the second turn.
The Grey Knight forgot all his psychic actions but 1.
The Grey Knight flamer died on turn 2, for once he was able to shoot once.

A zealot gladius GK has charged a Space Marine with a knife. Who'll win?

The knife!
The last action. 2 Space Marines contested a GK objective. It ended up as a stalemate.
Results?
1 objective each, 1 contested, 1 without anybody.
The Primaris are extremely sturdy but not enough variation in weapon. The GK lost only 1 melee (but the most memorable as the melee specialist of the GK died vs a primaris grunt)
And NEVER, EVER, put your sergeant alone in the front line.

Cheers!
