The Rise of the Underwolf - the Wolf and the Green Tide

On the sanctuary planet Kebab, a group of Ork raiders was wrecking havoc. The local governor sent a request for support and a force of Underwolf was sent to put an end to the trouble.

The 2 forces would meet on an abandonned temple ground. Who will prevail?

the ork army was deploying kopters and kommandos. The orks were pre-v9codex

the objectives markers were using Scibor miniatures monks

the orks deployed on the right and the space marines on the left

Ready to charge, the Underwolves got caught in the open

ork Kommandos hid in a ruin next to the space marines

Most Underwolves were supported by a wolf guard

the koptas and the kommandos destroyed most of the geey hunters and blood claws.

the terminators will prove to be difficult to destroy for the Orks

the terminators will clean up the board but the orks achieved their objectives and won the game

 

The Rise of the Underwolf - The Puppy and the Beast (KT 2018)

On the planet Garred, the hive has been lurking in the darkness. Spotted by local enforcement units, the governor requested the help of an Underwolf unit that was transiting in the system. Go in an aandonned industrial sector, and destroy the xenoa.

The Rise of the Underwolf - The dreadnoughts

 Reborn after what could have been a painful death, the dreadnought carries the body and mind of a near dead Space Marines. Enclosed in their metal coffin, they continue to wage war until real death take them.

Building the dreadnoughts was really fun. Sadly, the weapon options are not all fully available from the different kits available and I ended up kitbashing some weapons (missile launcher and double heavy bolter)

For these I used the venerable and space wolf dreadnought kits.

A good start

The models are easy to build and half way through, they already look decents

The kits didn't have the missile launcher, so I decided to make one with the bits I had. I had 2 versions in mind, going finally with the first one.

The second version, the angle of the weapon was not interesting.

I had 2 versions to work on for the heavy bolter, stacked up and side by side.

The Rise of the Underwolf - the Razorback

 The Underwolf is a new Chapter by Space Marines standard even though it was created millenia's ago by a Space Wolf force cutoff from the Imperium by a Warp Storm.

When the Warp Storm finally calmed down, the new Chapter was restocked with second hand equipments from other Chapters.

This razorback is one of them.

I opted for a standard color scheme of the army, finding a spot for the boneskull color

The model looks nice, but I still need to learn how to use it at max capacity

I used the same coloring and highlight that I used for vehicle with good tabletop effects
