The Piorad Piorad Weapon bearer |
Piorad armies are almost exclusively composed of chagar riders. Despite being looters by nature, they are organized during battle making them a very deadly threat whenever they gather to invade.

Red Eyes
Elite of the Piorad armies, the Red Eyes have their name coming from their glowing red eyes that give them a high status in the Piorad society. They have battle axes, large shield and mail. Their chagars also wear leather armor. They are highly aggressive and violent, giving no mercy to their enemies.
Heavy Cavalry
Veterans of several campaigns have battle axes and reinforced armors. Their chagars have also armor to protect them.
Tracker
Wearing leather armor, swords and throwing weapons, trackers always have 2 huge war dogs beside them. They are used to support cavalry to weaken major resistance, such as Derigion's phalange.
Cavalry
Bulk of the Piorad armies they have battle axe and several layers of furs as armor.
Skirmisher
Composed of non-Piorad people living under Piorad rules, they are expendable units used to screen the Piorad and support them. The Piorad warlords have no trust in these units as they prefer shock and blood.
Slave
40 men unit, slave units are used to shield valuable Piorad units against range units.
Racial characteristic: Looter
Piorad armies have a -1 success to pillaging test as units
will take their own share directly.
Racial characteristic: Winter Campaign
Piorad may decide to go to war in Winter without penalties.
New Specialty: Mount/Dismount
The unit can Mount or Dismount before the battle. When it
does, 2 units are created: Foot humans and chagar.
New Specialty: Chagar
When the unit fight, after the charge, it gain 1
additional dice.
New Specialty: War Dog
Every member of the unit has 2 war dogs that
they can launch toward the enemy. Once done, the war dogs will be uncontrolled
and will attack any enemy unit in sight until destroyed (routed or not).

The Gadhar
Gadhar warrior |
For retaliation, conquest or colonization, gathering of enough Gadhar to raise an army is only possible when several tribes agree on a common goal and a charismatic leader emerges. War is also an excuse to challenge themselves.
Warrior
They represent the majority of any Gadhar army and 80% of their society. They have spear and wear no armor.
Young
Composed of young men who are not fully part of the tribe until the elder decide they are now men. They are fearless, wear no armor and fight with javelin and large knife.
Courier
These warriors are the best of the Gadhar. They are 10-men strong to keep high initiative. They wear reinforced armor and ancestral spears.
Tamer
Veteran units, they have the dirty surprises for their enemies in the form of dinosaur they release toward enemy major units. The men have no armor and large knives.
New Specialty: Dinosaur
Every member of the unit has a tamed dinosaur that they can
launch toward the enemy. Once done, the dinosaur will act as an uncontrolled
unit and will attack any unit (friendly or not, routed or not) in front of it.

The Thunk
Thunk warrior |
Cavalry
Bulk of the Thunk armies, they wear fur as armor, and fight with bow and sword.
Archer
This unit is composed of 20 soldiers experienced in range combat. Archers dislike melee where they are disadvantaged with their knife and no armor.
Young
This unit is composed of young warrior that have not reached the adult age. As such, they will do take whatever risk to show their courage and earn the right to be an adult. They were several layer of furs as armor and a small sword.
Infantry
When people lose their pony due to war or sickness, they are used in the mountains to protect small contraband roads and villages wall, infantry are 50-men strong and its members are lower ranked in Thunk society where owning a pony means status.
Skirmisher
Weak, women and older people fight alongside men by providing necessary short range support and screen the main troops from the enemies.
