It has been a long time since I blogged. Gosh, looking back, I am wondering how I filled all these weeks with emptiness.
Well, I yielded to the call of procrastination. A very powerful spell that happens from time to time. Meanwhile, I have been very busy at work.
Finally, the darkness of this long tunnel is coming to an end.
I have made good progress on fantasy, painting more props and getting into my board. I am working on the campaign layout and designing special rules to simulate situations and other randomness. To help me on this, I have acquired the THW ruleset for dungeons.
Fantasy campaign preparation:
Mandatory painting:
- Heroes (at least 2)
- 20 Band of expendable adventurers (done, the one from Frostgrave wave 1)
- 10 Guards
- 10-12 Skavens (as underground, dungeon and sewers tend to attract them)
- the special one
Optional painting
- more guards, chaos and skavens
Rules: WIP
Random terrain: WIP
Event cards: done (32)

Ave Blogger, those who are to die in your scenario greet you! |

by the way, where are the healthcare coverage form? |
Terrain elements I have gathered so far:
2 dungeons kickstarters who delivered on time.
Dungeon World
(https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/244627251/dungeon-worlds) by
Acheson Creations. They are running their second kickstarter at the
moment. The materials are very simple plastic and fit my need for mass
material. The kickstarter (part 1) included very nice adventurers and
special tiles.
Stone Dungeon Tiles (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1080314421/stones-dungeon-tiles)
by Frontline Games. The materials are of greater quality than Dungeon
World for the tiles, but too soft on the door stands, which the only
negative point I have on them.
Dave Graffam models
(http://www.wargamevault.com/browse/pub/2985/Dave-Graffam-Models). These
are very good 2D with a 3D vibe. They will add more scenes beyond
underground without me trying to paint and weather terrain. I also like
their design as they remind me the one in
Mordheim, City of the Damned (the video game)

Dave Graffam printed and glued on foamboard. Nice effects |

Dave Graffam with the terrain bought last year. Very good together |
